I'm in Oregon right now, so Jubeale is easy to find and is thoroughly enjoyable. To continue with my 'drink local' theme, Mother Of All Storms will come later.

I’ll be drinking wine with my turkey :grimacing:

    ...But until then, beer.

Edit: Just reread your title and realized you meant while cooking the turkey. Oh well.

If roasting do yourself a flavor and deglaze the pan with wine for the gravy. Stouts work well with beef roasts but turkey benefits from a little wine imo. Beer has a place in cooking for sure but not much of a spot on Thanksgiving imo

I’m not actually doing any cooking today, but yea that sounds fantastic. And I generally drink wine with dinners like the one I’m having tonight. Beer will be dessert!

Definitely a similar approach to others. Having a Founders KBS right now but will have some wine with dinner. Finish up with some FW Mocha Merlin afterward. My wife's cooking and I'm watching football. Life is good! Cheers to all.

I'm working and preparing a traditional meal at the group home today, so nothing for me, thanks. However, I did hit some Stone Cliff cherry wine whilst cooking up the cranberry sauce last night. I had to make it at home because I can't bring my secret ingredient to work. Betcha can't guess what it is.

This beer can appears to be floating. What kind of black magic are you practicing?

Aslan is located in my town, and my state has legal weed, so, maybe, the can is just high?

(or, he just turned the tab and hooked it on the edge. Nah, can't be. The can is definitely high as a kite. )

So, B15 used to be a "Classic NW" IPA, and I've been sending it out in most BIFs. I saw where someone reviewed it as a Hazebrah beer, and I was like, "well, that's not right". Someone asked if I had had one lately, no says I. Well, the beer now is not the beer it was. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed it!

I didn't cook.... had diabolical ipa by north peak with dinner and a narwhal for an after dinner beer. Both were delicious and quite fresh.

No cooking for me. Just eating and drinking. Our family always eats holiday meals around noon or 1:00 pm so plenty of time to digest and sip brews after. Having a 2018 Founders CBS as my digestivo at the moment.
