Mule in front of me got the last vanilla. Nothing more infuriating. Especially when she yells to her husband double dipping at the back of the line, "I got the last vanilla!".

I feel that it can't get any worse. I couldn't even finish my bottle last night.

My guess is they wanted the majority for the LP event.

I assume every store gets a case, 6 go to employees, 6 go to customers.

I think that’s an oversimplification....this store has had 1 case of variants in previous years for more sought after BCS releases that have lasted past 6 people, I can think of about 5 examples in recent years. Just my data point

Can't believe I am actually mentioning this in a BC thread, but...

Skin-rash style dermatitis isn't that uncommon when you experience repeated exposure to a agriculture or animal product. Those in the south are probably well aware of this with tobacco plants that are sprayed, while those in the north may not be so familiar (with corn/soy). That said, other items cause this. There are reports of people developing a similar dermatitis issue from working in chicken plants.

(Why do I know this? My wife seems allergic to fowl, and has an itching sensation when consumed. The more 'natural' it is the less itching occurs, but it's absolutely bananas. Alcohol, of course, helps keep that itch at bay...)

One of the brewers shared the skin rash story first hand at the tasting event at Goose Clybourn. He said they spent about half a million on vanilla beans.

Orange and Bramble by far are the worst. Everything else is solid.

    Triple Barrel is fucking great.

Did anyone else hit up the Wheeling Binny's? Just curious if I'm the only one that noticed they had regular 2017 and 2018 mixed together out on the floor but still charged the same price.

Was bummed I couldn’t make the release out in LP Binny’s this year due to being back in Philadelphia for thanksgiving.

Went to a small bottle shop around 7am for an 8am open. The allotments were 6 reg, 6 vanilla, 4 midnight orange, 2 of everything else (minus Reserve and Prop). Got 6 vanilla and 2 Midnight orange (my favorite of this year).

Might have to go home every Thanksgiving moving forward
