Bourbon County 2018

Anyone know of places around the western suburbs (Downers Grove, Darien, Woodridge area) that still has some Bourbon County? I was out of town for the release and would appreciate if anyone knows of any places. Thank you!

 

Prestige Liquors on Ogden in DG still had some regular, I was there an hour or so ago.

 

I think Prestige in Westmont still has 16, 17, and 18 regular.

 

Also the cube in standard market still has a few variants on tap.

 

Binny's in Bolingbrook has 17 and 18 regular.

 

It’s still my single favorite beer. The variants are nice, and I blow a ton of money on them, but the OG is a perfect beer.

 

Drinking regular for the first time now (not counting Fobab). It’s really good with a lot of sweetness. It goes from fruity to having some vanilla character to me. What jumped out to me most was that it was bottled on 7/25/18. That’s the type of thing that wouldn’t happen at a small brewery but does at the ABInbev machine

 

I have to drive my son back to college tomorrow. Are there any places around IIT (south side by Comiskey park) that would have any BCBS left?

With that super easy joke made....I would start with any Jewel-Oscos in the area.

 

I’d start looking at the Jewels on Roosevelt and Wabash and Roosevelt and Canal, the Binny’s on Jefferson, and maybe the Binny’s in Hyde Park.

Drinking a 2018 regular now = so smooth, dark fruit, can't put it down for very long, lip smacking good. Must be true that it only develops up to 5 years LOL

 

Went to the city today for the Christkindlmarket and LP Zoo lights. I convinced the wife to stop by LP Binnys on the way out. They have Regular, 17 Coffee, and 17 BW. Also picked up some Deeths tar.
