Going to be taking a little weekend trip to Charlotte soon. Based on what I'm reading I need to go to Heist, Resident Culture and Salud Beer Shop for sure.
Are there any good hotels within walking distance of that area or should I just stay downtown and take quick uber trips? Any tips would be welcome since I've never been to the area.

Divine Barrel is also very close to Heist and Salud, if you have extra time.

No hotels at all near the Noda neighborhood but you can stay uptown and take the light rail to the majority of breweries (Resident Culture and Legion are the big exceptions) if you don't mind a 10min walk. You can also Uber to most any of them from uptown (including RC and Legion) for $7 or less.

Ones you can take the light rail to:
    Divine Barrel
    Bold Missy
    Salud
    Heist
    Noda
    Free Range
    Birdsong
    Unknown
    Wooden Robot
    Sycamore
    Lenny Boy
    Triple C
    Hyde
    Olde Meck
    Sugar Creek
    1400 Yancy (Victory/Southern Tier)
    Three Spirits
    Red Clay Cider
    Good Road Cider
Great Wagon / Broken Spoke (Distillery)
    Doc Porters (Distillery)

    Uber:
    Resident Culture
    Legion
    Catawba
    Pilot
    Seaboard

Do Heist and Resident Culture offer samples/flights?

    Resident Cuture yes for sure.
Heist? I know they have 10oz pours but can’t say 100% sure they have flights but I think so. I think I remember seeing a flight paddle there last time but, you know beer and all, shit gets hazy.

I want to keep this alive because I am also looking for places in Charlotte, but, anyone have any bottle shops/draft houses to recommend? I am looking for stuff from the other big boys in N.C. and to get a taste of whatever east coast distro locals get.

The wife and I just stayed in a nice AirBnB in NoDa a few weeks back. Very short walks to Salud, Heist, Divine Barrel and light rail, which we used to get to Wooden Robot, then Uber to Resident Culture.

It was a great little neighborhood to spend a Saturday evening and Sunday hanging out in. Plenty of food, beverage, and entertainment options in the NoDa area. We did make the 20min drive to High Branch on Sunday, otherwise we could get pretty much anywhere we wanted on the rail or a cheap Uber ride.

If you have a couple hours, the Cellar at Duckworths. You're welcome. Make reservations if going on the weekend.

Ended up getting an Air B&B in NODA. Gonna bring up a little Parish DDH Ghost in the Machine if someone wants a taste

Staying over in Charlotte Wednesday night this week for a work event on Thursday. I've been to Noda, Birdsong, Heist, and Wooden Robot before. I'm thinking the two I go to are Resident Culture and Salud Cerveceria. I would do dinner at Heist but they are getting distributed up here to the triangle more often now. Any other musts? Also, what should I do for dinner? Thanks for the help!

Check out Divine Barrel if you have time, it's very close to Salud.

Just had a great weekend there and agree Divine Barrel is a must in addition to Resident Culture and Salud.
We ate at Cabo Fish Tacos which was delish. A couple of people recommend the Thai restaurant next to Divine Barrel but I didn't get to try it.

If staying uptown, Duckworths for the largest tap selection in CLT. If your/company budget allows, go to The Cellar at Duckworth's

Like best food dinner? Or dinner with a good beer selection? The latter is only a small group but most have at least 3-4 locals on draft.

Agree on Divine Barrel, really enjoyed it, and the Thai food next door was excellent.
