Melvin Hubert, canned 10/01, drinking fantastic. I certainly hope the Melvin products are a regular visitor to the sunshine state......

I really hate drain pouring beers, BA, I do. But that Mischief didn’t agree with Raul. Instead, I dumped it, had a few pieces of Chile spiced mango to cleanse my palate, and I’m on to this fine offering:

Another new beer, on a Monday no less: Ft George Fresh (wet hop) IPA. 6.4%
Good, nothing mind-blowing. Probably a sub 3.9-3.8/5 beer. That might be generous. I like the weight, and it's about 2 months old, but just not doing much for me. Still, it's a pint of beer and I don't say no. Cheers! At least there's a song for this one...

Buriels Shadowclock Fresh Hop Pils. I'm not getting the lemon zest on the finish like I did the first can. This can is better than the first can, but I doubt a week did much to change the profile although it's incredibly fresh. More than likely just an off palate day on the first stuff.

I hate drain pouring. Hardly ever do it but when I do, I pour it on out door plants. Worms love beer and worms make for healthy soil and plants.

Mike, are you speaking to worms?

This should be a low-key, low-volume beer evening...starting off with Speakerswagon...

#2, the berry flavors in this porter are magnificent, IMHO.

Is Maduro the base for this beer or is it a completely different beer?

I’ll remember that. Unfortunately this time, I think the beer went to the Pacific Ocean.

Well kid, most of mine tonight, tomorrow, and afterwards will make it to the James River. Do not ask me to elaborate. OK, you can ask.
