I'd love to revisit both Pliny and Blind Pig. Newer hoppy stuff ? Yep. Better? I don't think so, Monks had both on tap in and I reveled in the simple greatness.

Yup. That’s me. Please indulge me here. I did revisit an old fav but not Scotty. Old Chub.
To summarize, I’ve sent a letter of apologies to my friend Old Chub and rest assured this absence will never happen again.

There are several beers I plan on revisiting, however I feel the need to revisit many of the styles that I've only tried one or two examples of. Schwarzbier, Kristalweizen, Weizenbock, Belgian Witbier, Scottish Ale to name a few.

That beer was Two Brothers Domaine DuPage - and I did revisit rather recently, and it no longer compelled me. Maybe the beer changed, but I'm certain my tastes haven't. Anyway, it is what is is.

Anchor Porter has been showing up in NY after what seemed like very sporadic distribution for a long good while

Just revisited London Pride and it missed the mark. Seemed to be a shadow of its former self or my taste buds are more sentimental than I thought. Maybe it was their ESB that I wanted.

Over the last year or two I've made a concerted effort to revisit old favorites. Some old stars still sparkle (e.g. Unibroue Trois Pistoles, Troegs Troegenator, and Victory Hop Devil), while others have lost some of their luster (e.g. Voodoo's Big Black Voodoo Daddy, Troegs Mad Elf, and Long Trail Ale).

Still on the list to try again...

I’d also love to revisit NG Cranbic, Oud Bruin, Apple Ale etc, just tremendous beers.

I got into craft beer, focusing on dark ales. My favorite at the time was Fullers London Porter. As my palate expanded, and I moved more towards German lagers, I guess I left it behind. I'll have to grab at least a single next time.

Revisiting some Bell's Third Coast Old Ale, been almost 12 years. Very tasty brew.

    Cheers!

I still remember when Boulevard released American Kolsch. It seemed like a big hit in the community, with a flavorful, light-ish beer available that wasn't a pilsner. I drank many that summer, but hadn't reviewed one until last night. It was a trip down memory lane through that glass.

I'm in the minority that thinks 8 is the best one. All three are excellent, though.

Pannepot. I've been on a dubbel and quad kick lately, and I haven't had one of those in a few years. That was always my #1 or #2 big Belgian beer.
