Wondering if OH is sending up BA Snowbirds - it didn't look like they had all 150 cases today.

These OH/EQ collabs are arguably both breweries biggest releases now-a-days...but are they any good? Feel like nobody here talks about the quality of the beers.

I remember the reaction to the last group of OH/EQ beers at OH was pretty lackluster here. What did everyone think of Lucid Dream Wave?

More importantly, are they ever going to release (or re-release) something with Sand City?

 

I would legit be annoyed if that was the case, this is probably the only weekday release that would sell out same day regardless of case count.

 

I will be too, especially since the limit was 4pp and it didn't even make it for people leaving work at a normal time. It just seemed like the first 100 cases being gone in the first hour just doesn't make sense.

 

Yeah this was a bad release to be honest. At 4pp, I figured they had a bunch to last into the night, but clearly this should have been halved to 2pp.

 

From what I gather there was a lot of double dipping.

My brother went for me so I asked him to get 3, thinking he’d take the 4th. I guess he didn’t want one because when he got 3 Andrew asked him why he wasn’t getting 4 and that he could “sell it to the guy behind him” which I thought was pretty weird.

 

I picked up a 4pk of the OH\EQ collab over the weekend and thought it was solid, but as has been echoed here before I didn’t think it was any better than some of their best core offering (ACE, Hop Showers, Space Diamonds).

Also, as someone who doesn’t trade/cellar/resell is that where all these bottles are going? I went today but I picked up an extra 4pk of SDH instead of grabbing a bottle, $22 per is way outside of my comfort zone.

 

Any update how many cases are left? Appreciate it!

Back in my day, it was whomp whomp to cans and bottles if you couldn’t get it on tap.

 

Ha, I was off work today and checked their Instagram looking for a mid-week release — saw the Saturday release post and went about my day.

 

Ended up lucking out and snagging some bottles but they are down to like 3 cases at most now.

 

Typically I’m used to finishing OH cans of IPA before 4 weeks out. What kind of timeline should I be thinking with these bottles of snowbirds?

 

5 cases left per Instagram.

 

Lol why did it seem they'd sell out before 5pm. I'm already home.

 

LOL and had I just walked over there instead of making this post, I could have bought some.
