Can't you all just get along, and figure out which of you wants to send a nice CO BA a few bottles in a trade, seriously?

 

The few times I've met Nate he seems like a joking guy and this is clearly a joke. I mean he's probably showing up at midnight but not all of us.....he's holding a spot for all the FIBs to cut in, We have a secret handshake (actually its a high five).

I figured he was joking, but this gets others thinking that they have to be there way earlier than they do, then there are 500 people in line at 5am like KBS. Sorry, I just don't like what these events are becoming and I think a few small steps here could do wonders, as we are a large part of the attendance.

 

I'm with you on this even though I know it's a joke.

 

I was debating having another tasting that weekend but i dont wanna go up against this! maybe we can still have a preparty/convoy tasting. crack a beer at every rest stop!

I'm more excited for Monster29 than anything. Got to sample a growler at AleWatcher/Oreo's bday bash and it was F-PHENOMENAL.

 

You camped out at KBS day, why not camp out at DH and then brag about it/lament about imposed limits here?

 

at darkness day the only BA that I heard jumped line was from Madison. Didn't matter though cause everyone got wristbands

 

Just got a room at the Comfort Inn, this will be the first beer event/release I've attended. What time did folks start showing up last year?

 

I'm ok with either, though killing a 750 of that stuff solo would likely bury me. 12's would make more sense.

 

Some people lined up in the morning but the majority came later that afternoon. I believe they began passing out tokens to mark your spot in line sometime just after 11:00 last year, but even if you weren't there right then, you could still get one whenever you arrived up until when the party actually began at like 3:00

IMO, no need to be there super early. Its a fun, all-day-well-into-the-evening party. Just come when you can and enjoy the event!

 

Exactly, this event is one where people don't need to get there early.

 

Yeah...I got to DH around 2pm last year and that was quite early. Hell I even sat down and had a beer before I grabbed my token!

 

Agreed, I didn't get there much before 2PM last year and had no trouble getting all the beer I wanted. It is an awesome party all around.

 

They will be in 12 oz bottles.
