    Not at all. Never has been. IIRC there was a bit of an unexpected line at opening last year that I'd imagine they'll be prepared for this year.

    Historically the release has been on 12/23 and the Festivus party occurs that night. I had to miss last year due to family obligations. Went the year before and had a complete blast. Hoping to make it this year. Coffee and regular are always my favs, but Double Barrel AJs is just incredibly well done if that happens to be on.

    But realistically, I'm just a local beer enthusiast who happens to like Triptych. So I'll let @3xAnthony chime in when he has a moment so we can all live in facts.

    Got lucky and found a 4pk in Peoria last year. Really liked it, am hoping to make it over for the release this year

    Having stood in the line at last year's Festivus immediately after opening, I can vouch for the fact that it wasn't bad, at worst a 10 minute wait. My wife and I had no problem trying all the AJ's variants we wanted. With Triptych more space now available, I expect there to be even less of a "problem" with lines at this year's Festivus. I don't know my family holiday plans yet, but I'm trying my best to keep 12/23 open for Festivus. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Regular is the only one ever to be canned and see limited distro. Last year it was coffee, vanilla, and maybe Peanut Butter (?). Year before that was Coffee, Vanilla, and a rum barrel aged one. The rum barrel was pretty great. They have allowed some limited to go of crowlers or howlers over the years. I don't recall all the ins and outs of that though.

    Heading to Lincoln this weekend to watch my daughter play some basketball and will make a quick stop for my first visit to Triptych for some cans to go. Any advice on what I should pick up? I have read through this thread, so I have a few ideas. Thanks.

    Whatever you do pick up some Wake Up Neo, and you can't go wrong with A Wizard Is Never Late either.

    This. 100%. Those are 2 of the best beers they make IMO. O Rly!? is Really Dank Meme with a new name. So that's worth it too. But yeah, Neo, Wizard, and O Rly in that order for me. Assuming you like hazy IPAs that is...

    I was in town for the Deafheaven show last Friday and stopped in for a few (first time in the taproom, but I've had a few offerings previously). Completely agree on Neo and Wizard, and had no idea O Rly? is RDM. Really enjoyed that as well.

    That Peanut Butter Gelly Time may have been my favorite I had though.

    Made a quick stop at Triptych Saturday. Picked up some Neo, Wizard, Dank Meme, & O rly. They are delicious. Thanks again!

    getting to drink a Christmas Meme right now and this is completely my jam, holy shit. i love hazy beers, spruce tips in beers, and xmas so this is my thing. It's piney, dank, some bite, and citrus bursting through from the idaho 7 hops. thick fluffy mouthfeel as well. highly highly recommended for those looking for something a little different in their hazies.

    Unfortunately, I'm going to miss again this year. I had hopes to make it, but family > beer. So it goes.

    Bummer that AJ's won't be ready, but realistically the last month+ has been absolutely brutal and my wallet desperately needs some R&R.
