Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

So why is it when Pipeworks puts adjuncts in the stout, the price goes up $1, but when bourbon county gets adjuncts the price doubles?

Alright, I'm with you on this one. If it's just the barrel program, I gave Revolution the nod by just a smidge. But if we are talking full roster, gimme Pipeworks too.

 

That crew at PW is always amazing. Always smiling and in a great mood talking with customers and moving the line at a good clip. And the samples are greatly appreciated. Ended up trying more samples than I thought. Cognac and AB are very, very boozy. I don’t plan on opening those for at least 3-6 months. Sundae was really, really sweet. Great for a share as while it was tasty (love the strawberry), more than 4oz. would be tough as it’s SOOOOO sweet. Coconut as described above is perfect right now. Absolutely perfect. My fave of the bunch. Cracked a BA JD last night and it’s the same really great beer we all hoped it would continue to be.

Again shout out to the PW staff working at open yesterday. Your positive attitude, great customer service and ability to get us samples of whatever we wanted means the world to us. Reasonable limits and great pricing. A lot of Chicago area breweries could learn a lot from how you run your business. Please don’t change.

p.s. Don’t sleep on the white grape gose. An incredible beer especially if you’re like me and enjoy white wine sours. My go to beer right now between 12%-15% beers during stout season.

 

Maybe 10-15 in line, shouldn’t have any issues with getting as much as you want today. Only AB is out.

My top Chicago breweries are PW, HA, Rev, Dovetail, and Off Color. In terms of BA releases PW always wins hands down. Good beer, good people, and great prices.

Also: being someone who orders beer and spirits for thier Trader Joe's store, them doing thier own shipping is p. dope. Thier deliveries are always on time with fresh dates.

Always kudous to the team here. HOWEVER: When can we expect a dedicated pub? Love to drink your beer on draft with some wicked good bottles.

 

They purchased a space on California, just north of Logan Blvd. So the brewpub will finally happen...but I don't think they are expecting it to open until 2020.

 

They told me when I was there at 1115 that coconut is selling out today too. Get on it for those who haven’t been! Amazing stuff!

BA Coconut Jones might be my fav BA they've done. This is almost too good to be true. I will be getting more next weekend if it is available.

 

So after bitching about people buying cases at More, I immediately regret not getting the full allotment of Coconut and Sundae
