Trade I saw.....I'm on neither side.

So brutal honesty welcome

 

I think that where the value is right now for Vanilla is around 2.5 BCBVS to a FO b3 Value (before B4 came out).

So, while I think it's fair if someone wanted to do FO B4 to Vanilla 1:1, I think it's probably more fair for someone to add with Vanilla. Nothing crazy, and I think 2 BCBVS to 1 FO B4 is too much (by a LOT).

Does this trade look pretty even or is it lopsided one?

 

I think it looks pretty even with certain DDC brews. If you are on the JK side you are not getting a bad deal. The Flora B7 is great. I’d choose the Bourbon Peche if my choice.

 

Had a buddy go to Westbrook for me since he was in town and was able to buy a package during their anniversary week. I got a 15 chocolate Bourbon Barrel cake and a 15 cognac cake. Anybody know if those would pull a decent bottle? I would like to drink one and trade one. How many VR units would they be worth?

 

Obviously the demand for coconut vibes is sky rocketing right now....

How close does ac double barrel Popinski get me?

Could swap out ASoF b2 for the Sarah. Fair?

 

For what it is worth, those DDC bottles are actually 341ml not 375ml. They are sold in mixed 4 packs that go for about C$20. So, about C$5 a bottle, or $4 American. They tend to trade at $4$ level up here.

They are all good to great in my opinion and I’d echo above that Peche Bourbon would be my choice if you’ve never had it. Exorciste Sauternes would be a good choice too.

 

Where is Rare 2010 sitting?
Could I pull one with a mix of Perennial and Side Project ~4:1?

 

I essentially pulled OG Rare for BAA16. But my buddy posted that exact same trade and got crickets.

 

Looking to trade a Fundamental Summation and a M3 (original/non-BA) for a Westly and a West Ashley. Does my 3 Sons/Mostra combo have what it takes? I'm not sure where M3 is trading these days.

Also, what would a Pinot Gris or Groseille Rouge trade for in terms of seasonal Cantillon. I was thinking Pinot Gris for maybe a Fou or a St. Lam?

 

What are Special Violet and Special Noir trading for?

 

Just received a gunmetal bake kujira in a trade for nillerz, nook, 17+18 MD, 18 assassin, and 17+18 naughty temple. 7:1 Personally I thought this was a fair trade considering I have multiples of all of these bottles and bake is as white of a whale as you get.

Curious what the BA community thinks, was this a fair trade?

 

Thoughts on a BT WTF+BA BL for Maman? Does this get it done or is it to much? Plus on either side?

 

Yes. Sounds fair. DDG b4 should be right around the corner. B3 wasnt getting much love fresh and I've been seeing some folks letting them go for peanuts the thing is that beer is delicate and I'd be hesitant to get from anyone who wasn't the original owner.

 

Yup considering how ridiculous that gunmetal is to land I think both sides did just fine.

 

I disagree a bit with @putonyourwalkingshoes , surprisingly! (We normally agree!) I think you got a bit of a sweetheart deal. You were trading up, and I don't think you had to "overtrade" to get one of the hardest to pull stouts out there. That said, Bake has dropped in value by 40% ish it seems like since summer. Whereas it was over KBBS by a decent margin, seems like it is now pretty even with KBBS. That said, I think your offer would have been a "right set of eyes" for pulling a KBBS.

Regardless, all those bottles add up to a lot of $$$ on your end, you're happy, and you landed a longtime want. Sounds like huge congratulations are in order.
