Have it transferred to New Ballas location. Its a few miles from Westport.

 

3 new DB Derivations. he’s already posted Tawny Port variant (so i assume Bourbon barrels then port like the last blend). anyone have any guesses on the other 2? Bourbon / Rum comes to mind since D9 and D10 used rum barrels. Bourbon / Apple Brandy possibly? either way, very excited to try these!

Delayed response: I drank BBT 1 vs. BBT 2 at the Cellar anniversary week, whenever that was. They're both outstanding beers, but everyone I talked to preferred 2 over 1 by a fair margin, as did I. It's not 1:1, since it's year old batch 1 vs fresh 2, but without a time machine it's all I can muster. BBT 1 is still a great beer, but 2 is a solid improvement.

 

Did Anabasis b3 release to go? Saw someone ISO’ing a bottle on the trade threads and wondering if I missed it, or if it was another society-only bottle?

Yeah - when certain people show up with coolers and chairs and look like it has been on their calendar for a bit you can assume those people are “in the know” and the rest of us are just hoping we aren’t out grocery shopping with our family when the tweet/insta shot goes off.

 

This. And there were only like 30 people left in line. Would have been really cool if Cory/SP would have offered to-go bottles from on-site bottle inventory to make everyone happy. Obviously not required, but things like this are easy wins in my eyes (but maybe I’m missing something).

 

how many bottles would you guess got released today?

Maybe 300? And best I could tell, everyone was allowed to partake.

I also dont know what’s with this cooler/chair talk, I didnt see anybody that looked like they knew this was coming. I didnt really see any sharing in line. A lot of people have chairs in their cars, it doesn't mean anything.
