Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2018

It looks like they did the neon espresso with vanilla bean again this year. Pretty sure it's not canned or bottled, but it was pretty fantastic on tap last year. Quite a bit different from regular, IMO.

 

I saw them in Hudson a week ago, it was Casanova and or Chicones

 

I haven't been following this thread (nor this forum, really) much lately, but if you're up for the drive, Mount Royal Bottle Shoppe in Duluth was stacked with CBS, CBH, DSDB, and Darkness when I stopped in there Saturday. I was in and out of the store quickly, so there may have been some other stuff I missed. Looked like a great store.

 

While I know Mount Royal is a good store where stuff may linger around a bit, CBS, DSDB and Darkness seem to sit around now. I was just at the Minnetonka Total Wine yesterday trying to find Tin Whiskers Nut Goodie and they had cases of CBS, DSDB and Darkness.

 

OK, I'll bite. What's CBH?

Has anyone seen Stone Xocoveza around South Minneapolis or across the river in St. Paul?

 

TW Minnetonka had 4-5 cases yesterday by the beer tasting stand.

Pretty sure this shouldn't be too tough to find. Total WIne's have had it for about a month now, Bloomington location still shows some in stock. So does France 44.

FYI: they're in 6-pack cans this year.

 

Was wondering about this. Place near my house has it listed on tap. Did a double take on it.

Has anyone tried Grindcore from Surly yet?

 

It's good, but not Coffee Bender good.

 

I had it at the brewery in the summer. Thought it was really good, although can't remember the specifics other than being very easy drinking.

 

Looks like all TW locations have it. It's fun packaging for a classic beer although the vintage year on the label might encourage people to age this. That can't end well...
