Bad Trader: OSU91

    I should have paid more attention to that fact that this was a new user with 0 confirmed trades.
    Seemed legit going back and forth discussing the trade.
    Confirmed shipping addresses and phone numbers.
    I sent mine out a nice package filled with fresh Tree House beers and sent them tracking info and then they went silent.
    No responses to multiple DMs and then when I texted the phone number discovered that this was not in fact their phone number and they gave me a random one.
    I've seen him post a couple more times looking for large amounts of Tree House beers.
    Don't trade with them cause they will just rip you off!

    Life lesson, always do a little more research and don't trust stranger!
    Been trading for over 4 years on here and this is the first time I've gotten screwed.

    Did you look for him on any other social platforms? How long ago was this trade?

    Trade was just this last week.
    Only thing I could find for the name and city I was given was an obituary for an old guy.
    And the phone number I was given says they are a tree trimming service.

    OP, sorry for what occurred to you and hope you get it settled somehow but one of the cardinal rules of trading is someone with little to no trade feedback to always ship first. I know it does not help your situation but maybe helps the next person avoid a similar fate. Good luck.

    Didn’t have contact with the guy. He only answered how many cans he wanted but I never pulled the trigger on the trade. Did receive message from another person who recently traded with him and got ghosted.

    Residence. It was an apartment address.
    Looked it up and it’s a low income housing apartments.
    They could have picked a neighbors apartment number and just grabbed the package when it was dropped off.

    Yeah that was me.
    Was getting suspicious and I then saw the @Stay_gold had posted on one of the trade threads with @OSU91 so I was seeing if he had gone any farther with it.

    Don’t know this guy...seems like that is fortunate for me.

    Unfortunately he is giving Ohio traders a bad name.

    To then OP: What was he supposed to send you? If it’s from Ohio area maybe I can help you out?
