I should be able to make this share.

If you guys are serious about a blind share, I'll volunteer to pour samples for everyone in the back and serve them up to you maniacs. I sort of have all the details planned out in my head to make this fun. Maybe even make it an annual holiday event, like the anniversary share?

Or not. We can also just drink our faces off and shoot the shit.

 

I think it would be fun to have do a bit of a blind share portion. Maybe just like 6 or so bottles that might be similar or offer some “a-ha” reactions after finding out what they are. The rest of the time we can shoot the shit and drink our faces off.

I think I may just schedule a vacation day for the day after this share. I had one more day left, and this seems like a good choice.

 

Part of the reason I'm attending is I have that whole week off, haha.

We can certainly do that. Pick a theme and people bring what they have. Like, bring in vanilla stouts or coconut stouts or non-adjunct stouts or coffee/maple stouts or whatever.

Or we could all bring shit in and I'll group similar beers together in back and bring them out 5-6 at a time. We rate and then I'll reveal each one. We take a water/IPA/sour break to refresh palates and discuss. Then the next group comes out, rinse and repeat.

Or not. Like I said, lots of ideas in my head, but want to make sure everyone has a good time.

This all sounds great.

One theme idea: Beers that you have had aging for a while and you think maybe you should have opened them already.

I also like your idea of having someone group them on site in some ways that make sense.

 

It seems like this is shaping up to be a littler bigger share, so I'd say blind tasting might be difficult.

Liked the idea of a donation from @Chris_H_2. It would help me sell the fact to my wife that I'm going to bottle shares on two consecutive Tuesdays...

Love the Toys for Tots idea. Might be hard to bring a bunch of toys and leaving someone to deal with it all. If we want to just all throw in some cash/VM/PP what ever we can have someone pick up the toys and do the drop off.

Happy to handle the toy part or contribute. But we should 1000% pick a charity to help.

Yea. I think a $25-$50 dollar range is a good target. I know all you MF'ers have spent more than that on beer in the last couple weeks lol.
