Space Coast Juicy Pale Ale from 3 Sheeps on the first sunny day in what seems like months! Canned 11/30 in Sheboygan, this is yet another fantastic variant of of one of my favorite, every day Wisconsin APAs. This one with all-time greatest hop, Galaxy. Nicely done.

My attendance will be in absentia. I am tired of them critiquing my IPA consumption. They don't understand that it's legitimate work.

Photo Op, a bitter, dry NE IPA at District 96 Brewing. It's nice to have a NE IPA that's not a fruit bomb.

Beer #4. While ringing up my purchases, my local mom-and-pop shop mentioned “hey, you’re here a lot, do you want to take this beer that had the label ripped off?” Uh yes, yes I do. Please and thank you.

Tasting mighty fine for $0.00. It pays to support small businesses. They have my business for a long time.

A stop at Something Brewery on the way home from a 5k this morning. They're celebrating their 3rd year this weekend with a lot of special brews. The Coconut Monsta Imperial Stout is pretty decadent. I'll drink to my second place age group finish! Cheers barflies.....

So you are still upset that uncle Steve poured Surly's Darkness in your mouth, when you were sleeping?

Oskar Blues G'Knight Imperial Red. Pretty decent red ale but maybe a bit too sweet. Reminds me of their Old Chub to a certain extent. Likely a very similar recipe. Old Chub for example is a bit too sweet and cola-like, even for a Scotch Ale.

Got three of these in a Oskar Blues 15 pack of 5 beers named Canundrum for only $15. Great deal...buck a can. Can't beat that.

That was actually good. I'm pissed at Aunt Betty for giving one of her Bud Light drinking friends my Tree House. She's not getting a Christmas card ever again. Again, I tell you!

I generally prefer hoppy beers over Lagers, but even I have to say that the whole concept of a "dry-hopped Bock" is just ridiculous. What's the point of taking a style that is defined by a rich, complex malt balance and then dry-hopping the fuck out it until it tastes just like a WC IPA? This is an enjoyable enough brew for what it is, but that's certainly NOT a Bock.
