Good fight - not quite what I've come to expect from Loma, but he was still pretty much in control for most rounds - and sealed the deal in the 11th - but didn't have that footwork to the sides, that elusive energy... Also didn't use that right hook like he used to...

This morning, having finished Narcos Mexico recently, checked out Surviving Escobar, a Spanish language series on Netflix about one of Escobar's sicarios, based on the book written by said hitman (and cartel lieutenant), John Jairo Velásquez...

Really digging it, one episode in...

I am lifting "More Cowbell" a Double IPA from Buffalo Bayou, ABV 9.0%. It's toasted malts, grassy, floral-pine-resin hops, a hint of citrus, very nice floral aroma. Not perhaps very juicy or dank, but a more traditional well balanced pine resin IPA.

Penrose Stevens Street Double Dry-Hopped APA. Went to one of my favorite places, Woodman's Super Market, and found these for $3.99/4-pack. Usually like 12 or 13. Canned late September but still tasting wonderfully. I picked up 2 4-packs. I give the approval to pick up plenty of this wonderful APA that is still tasting great at the Rockford IL Woodman's. Great deal!

Delicious collab between Barrier and Other Half...this has an insane amount of coffee in it. Nice velvet like feel, sweetness is perfectly balanced with the coffee bitterness. Outstanding stout.
