The 6th Annual Day of the Dark 2018 on WBAYDN
NOON EST. ~ UPDATE

Started at 6am EST with a Night Howler from @Lingenbrau that is meant for me to drink at dinner time, not early breakfast. Anyway...

Special thanks to @Todd and @Jason for allowing these shenanigans in the BA Virtual Bar.

There are so many details to fear in the first DotD post by @thebeers. It’s a strange thing that a BA would set their alarm to have a beer at 6am on a Saturday in order to win a Rainbow Unicorn mug. The beer is 16.8%, the tag from a previous DotD prize is proudly displayed and a snaggletooth pooch is thrown in for good measure. A recipe for victory?

We’re probably going find out shortly...

@mschrei posting a big high abv dark beer lit only by moody candlelight with the Eye of Sauron in his glass is not unusual for him, but what IS unusual is...well, nothing really.

@superspak arrives right on time and a weird normalcy can be felt in the V-bar. Well, I felt something...

@GreenBayBA gives everyone a chance by waiting a full hour before dumping his newest nightmare on the thread. Well I can tell you it’s not a nightmare watching fellow BA’s like GreenBayBA do what they do to win a Rainbow Unicorn mug.

Sorry, I have several bulleted points for this one:

• As many have suspected, GreenBayDude’s post was set-up over the last 4 or 5 days in prologues on previous WBAYDN’s.

• Production value is not too bad and the wardrobe selection is just barely better than last years epic malfunction to victory.

• Such a disturbing effort! After the last few years I/we wondered how far will he go? He will go pretty damn far!

• Managed to find or pay someone to assist...and we assume do the probing.

• Well, he is Norwegian.

@SawDog505 makes us pine for Sunday Morning in the Virtual Bar so that this will all be over...but is this not our own damn fault?

@lordofthewiens handsome new white dog fits right in on the Day of the Dark and pees outside like a good boy. Might he lead his master to victory or to a big pile of poop in the dark?

Spak Man is back!

@WesMantooth posts Homage to the Black Square—possibly the most thought provoking post ever on Day of the Dark. Folks are really thinking about this one, then not liking it.

Spak re-returns and is clearly unstoppable. He is positioned as the only BA who could potentially win all three prizes. This would of course save the sponsors on shipping costs. Watching that one closely.

@TongoRad pulls out his legendary table runner, this post pleases (and is noted by) The Duvel, and displays beverages that surely will lead to a day of staggering.
