Alpine still worth a visit?

    Was this batch spontaneously fermented? Obviously it shouldn’t be considered actual lambic but I’m wondering if the “lambic-style” claim on the label has any merits.

    Went up to Alpine today.

    HFS tasted great. No idea why GF hasn’t put that in cans yet. Tuatara is also a beer if I was GF would can for just the summer months. Both of those are so much better than anything GF has out. Even though Nelson won’t be Nelson, I’m really looking forward to 6 packs. Costco last weekend had a case of Pure Hoppiness for $29.99.

    The tasting room still had 6 packs and were selling PH growlers for 50% off. So I’m guessing they are trying to blow it out as it was released back in November. Maybe next year they’ll price it better to begin with.

    Did anyone buy Great or was everyone too busy buying ddbs bw instead? Guess this beer isn't hyped anymore as it once was.

    I got both...much more difficult time landing Great or the Mostra variant. Also I’m gonna have to drive to Alpine from LA for the Great :confused:

    What is going on with Alpine and Green Flash? I thought Green Flash blew up and was essentially bringing down Alpine with it. But it seems both are still operating as if nothing happened. Does Alpine make beer at the pub anymore? Help.

    A venture capital firm stepped in. The pub is still making beer, but Pat is no longer part of any of it.

    Stopped in yesterday for bottle pickup. Had Great and Mostra The Great along with a half pint of Pitcher Perfect. Pitcher Perfect was a reminder that they can still make some awesome hoppy beers in Alpine.
