Bottled on 12-18-18, outside of the brewery, this is the freshest Pliny I have ever had:

It’s a sad day for Dodger fans. I’m going to miss you, Puig. Congrats, Cincinnati, you got an awesome player... I wish this home run meant something (I spy Kobe!):

Noon Whistle DDH Gummy Buddy. Not bad, but could use a little bit more flavor. Cheers to the weekend BA!

Humble Sea Brewing — En La Boca

This New England DIPA was hopped with Mouteka, Vic Secret, and Mosaic, and it was canned on 12/20/28 (Hell Yeah to fresh beer!)

Pours with a murky bright light yellow body (way lighter than in my crappy picture, for which I apologize). A semi-aggressive pour yields just over a finger of head. The head is white and rocky, but dissipates quickly and leaves minimal lacing on the glass. Smell is a mix of orange juice and some sweet yeast. Not the most pungent beer, and I'm not blown away by the smell flavor, but it's alright overall. Taste follows the nose. There is discernible yeast presence, but the overall fruity flavor is pleasant. Grapefruit and orange dominate other fruit notes. Feel is a spot on NEIPA, with a soft body and well-hidden alcohol. This is a good NEIPA and, like most of the beers produced by this new brewery, it hits all of the necessary NEIPA marks. It's not world class, but an enjoyable product that I'm grateful to have right now. Cheers!

    Ok @brutalfarce here we go

I’ll tell you what. After all the NEIPA I’ve consumed this beer as a distinctive feel and flavor to it.

    Cheers and Happy Friday People!

Clever Girl brewed by Triple Crossing. The one flaw is I did not use the favorite glassware of @goingbrokeonbeer . Just messing with you dude. I hope you and family have a great holiday.

Celebrating beer review number 4000 with this barrel aged goodness and swaggy glassware from @tacosandbeer. This mellow Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Stout has some nice lingering char!

Awesome DIPA. I get tired just typing the name out. Fantastic head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate honey, wheat, biscuit dough malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; creamy, silky, bready malts; light sticky, resinous, rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering resin dryness, no cloying/astringent. Dangerously smooth, minimal warming 10%. Great soft feel. Feels like a lot of Citra/Galaxy! Very juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; great honey and wheat/oat/malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering resin dryness. Another easy winner. 4.13

    Yay Friday!
    Yay Christmas!
    Yay Beer!

Bell's BA Third Coast Olde Ale

Guy did a crappy job when he sealed it.
Seen it was leaking a bit when I got home.
So it's the 1st for the night.

    This is an amazing beer.
Not overly fond of the base beer, not a fan of the hoppy barleywines per say. Yet with some age on them they tend to die down a bit. This on the other hand blows my mouths mind.
Seems if the barrel aging has muted the hops enough to consider this an English style BW.
    Great stuff!

One of Sand City’s newest, couldn’t decide whether or not to get the name in the pic or George’s handsome mug. Real nice dank to this, alcohol is nowhere on this. Delicious.

I have to go out and socialize. I should be awesome on 3 hrs of sleep and 3 DIPAs in less than 2hrs.

    375 ml. bottle.
Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a super bright, golden body with no lacing. Nose of funk, citrus, slight oak, and slight hay. Flavors of citrus and oak with a slight spicy sweetness. Very nice! Wonderful carbonation makes for a real nice mouthfeel. Overall, a classic example from Vat #92. Cheers!
