That's pretty good for your first Deschutes. I highly encourage you to keep going! Cheers!

Yeah, unfortunately we don't get them around my neck of the woods. My aunt and uncle in law brought me a few back from Minnesota. Liking it so far for sure.

Decent o-fest. Too fruity, not enough body. October beer isn't over yet for me! I still have a ton of new ones left.

Digging into this now. lots of apples with some gingerbread, cinnamon, and allspice notes. Good stuff!

Sunday FUNday continues........(wife and friends ran the San Antonio Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon today, I didn't, but being a spectator is hard work!)

Brought a New Glarus Serendipity for the celebration:

I am a half, full marathon or half iron man spectator every year with my wife. Her sister lives in Wisconsin. It's nice. We get New Glarus. Awesome.

This beer needs no introduction. The last time I had this was at one of those local 24 hour diners with a bowl of chili. Now there's no chili, but this is still a solid IPA.

I have to agree with you. This one was rather brutally bitter....
