This is excellent at 6%. Pricey but good for sure and the Haze is real.

 

Outstanding milkshake IPA. Great head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/lightly tart cherries, mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and fruit tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/silky/bready lactose/oats; light sticky hops and slight resins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 7.8%. Probably Galaxy, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Extremely juicy and lightly dank hops/fruit; with great lactose/oat/malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Just as impressive and the pomegranate; but this has more fruit presence, and lactose/vanilla sweetness.

Another freaking delicious IPA from the Bomb series from Sloop, this one has been given the Nelson treatment. Their IPAs are special, for sure.

 

You must be having a great time out in Cali, that place is awesome!

 

Can't get that good Shemp Lager up here in the Adirondacks (not sure you can get it anywhere). But I do keep the cabin stocked with that good Ubu Ale.

That went down toooo fast. Moving onto I Don’t Know Margo a IIPA from Sand City and it’s just about what I’ve come to expect from these guys: deliciousness. Seriously, floral citrus here. If this is a Christmas beer, hell yeah!

 

Ok, this is a huge improvement over the last attempt.
Mout & Mocca has been looking at me for a while in my fridge, and I'm glad I popped this one open.

Pours pitch black. There's almost no head. What's there was tan, and dissipated to a ring around the glass.
The nose is really nice. It has a coffee aroma with some notes of chocolate. The aromas compliment each other.
Taste - A creamy chocolate flavor up front that turns into a nice mellow coffee flavor on the backside. There's also a slight sweet flavor mixed in with the coffee.
The body is thick. The coffee lingers in my palate.
Solid coffee beer. Nice flavors, and it feels great.


Since someone else brought up the 3 Stooges.

 

The last night with the tree then Christmas ends tomorrow and we move on to the next thing.

This one belongs in the league with the BIG BOYS! @TheIPAHunter will attest this is some juicy and dank stuff. Not sure how others feel but I like the virtual bar a lot more when he is at it. Cheers Hunter and lets get LAARRGGEE tonight my friend!
