Careful - any negativity will be swiftly pounced upon by the HVB fanboys. I personally think everything HVB and their fans do is super awesome

There actually are quite a few things in life that the demand is greater than the supply. Not sure why that would be hard to believe, or if there is some significance to this day and age that I don't get regarding availability of things, and demand for them, but yes, folks still do line up for things they want, including beer.

I think the point @Daveshek28 was making is that the last few releases, the beer has lasted through the line, if not the day. Lining up extremely early is just a waste of time unless you want a fancy glass.

Sometimes it sells out very fast. Sometimes it doesn't. It would be great if we could find out which is which ahead of time. I bet that would cut down on the sizes of the lines. Until then it's likely folks who want to guarantee they get beer and who have fun at line shares will continue to line up.

Me haha I am hardly a line life guy. When IA showed up fresh in bev store fridges, Suarez started releasing their barreled beers, and I could get MC2 and Fluctuation on Thursday without a wait was the end of my desire to wait on a line.

If by your characterization you meant simply that I enjoy a great selection of excellent beer to share and enjoy than I gotta agree. Preferably like the old Top Hops and Keegan shares, where there were no releases involved, but a good share is a good share, and yeah always ready to enjoy one.

I figured like Other Half, (I think?) that after several releases of similar styles, albeit different beers, that the hype would've died down. I personally like going into HVB and just getting crowlers to go.

Me too. I have never waited on a line at HVB, happy to get pours and growlers.

Yes, but you realize that a lot of people are visiting these breweries. Many people are making a day of it and are not local so they don't mind waiting in line.
