Looks like a post I would expect to see on the Onion!

Nice to see Grimm playing nice with OH. I think that’s a first?

Green City VIP was 100% worth it. The bottles and cans probably retail for 6x20 (bottles) +2*20 (cans), for 160. If you'd end up buying the bottles and cans regardless, then getting in an hour early is 100% worth an extra $40. There was no line for Great Notion during the VIP hour at Green City.

The coat check makes it even more worth it! On that note, should someone tip more or less on a coat check than they tip for cans?

Right before the L goes down too! Maybe it's like one last taste for all of us.

Some quick math puts the value of the VIP goodies at around $175 I think, assuming the bottles average about $20 given some non BA and some BA. Basically if you want the beer and you want to go to the festival its basically an extra $25 on top of that for private bathrooms and early entry?

I'd rather just have the old classics released during the week and let people line up for new beer on Saturday! If I could get All Citra, Double Mosaic, Space Diamonds, and a Hop Showers variant 1 each over the course of the month, that'd be great.

Edit: and while excellent, Blueberry Crunchee hasn't yet passed Strawberry, Guava, Coconut mmm fruit dream in my opinion.

I remember a couple of years ago Other Half did an April Fools joke for "All Gold Everything", I think it was priced at $75 a 4 pack. With latest $300 ticket price for Diabetes City , All Gold Everything release in next couple of months seems like it could be a reality. The bean counters at Other Half must be sitting in a room with a pile of money laughing their asses off as people scoop up anything and everything Other Half at whatever price they put out.

Last time it was the VIP toilets we were mocking haha. But from talking to Rob it sounds like at green city it was worth it overall assuming you wanted all the beers being included. I’m not going to this but may go to Green City

Definitely interested in grabbing some sand city collab and triple citra. Definitely not interested in standing in anything considered a line. These beers make it to noon?

Normally I'd say yes, but I have some reservations now that batches are being divvied up between Brooklyn and Rochester.

Didn’t know about Rochester. I’ll shoot for 10:30 and hope line has been processed more or less

Green City was definitely 100% worth the price but that was for 3 hours of IPA drinking in the summer.

3 hours of pastry stouts? No fucking thank you. I can barely get through 8 oz.

The last time the collaboration breweries were here was back in green city. Do you think they had the time to come up with a stout in time for Pastrytown? Let alone a BA one

I mean it'll probably be pretty close to 12 months since they brewed all the stouts from Green City by then so could see BA versions of that.

Haven’t been to OH in a minute...if I show up at noon on Saturday is it likely I can just walk in and get cans?

Short answer is yes. You might not get everything, but there should be some cans still available from the release that morning. Like a previous poster said with some things getting split to Rochester so cans may sell out quicker than they have been recently, but you'll have something to get at that time.

Yes, I'm guessing you'll have a choice of 6+ different cans available at the corner warehouse with a maybe 5min waiting time.
