    990 Metropolitan Avenue
    Brooklyn, NY 11215

Nearest Subway Stop: Grand Street L. If you're coming from Manhattan, it takes the same amount of time to get off one stop earlier at Graham and walk the extra two minutes. Godspeed to all of you come April given the L train shutdown.
    Parking: usually pretty easy nearby.
Citibike: closest is at Bushwick Ave and Powers St, about a 7 minute walk.

    Wednesday: 5pm - 10pm
    Thursday: 5pm - 12am
    Friday: 5pm - 12am
    Saturday: 12pm - 12am
    Sunday: 12pm - 10pm

    Beer
Pouring Now is what's on tap.
To-Go shows what's available in cans, bottles or growler fills.

For release information, follow them on Instagram (best source) or you can try here.

    Food
Samesa Snack Bar, an outpost of Brooklyn-based Samesa, is setup in the taproom. There is a menu at the bottom part of the Taproom page on their website, and there are seasonal offerings as well.

    Shop:
    https://shop.grimmales.com/
Dogs: Allowed on a leash or in a bag.
Kids: Allowed as long as they are well-behaved and monitored.
Growlers: Must be clean, dark glass, and you have to bring your own cap for screw-top varieties.
Bottle Shares: Ask permission from a bartender first. Then give them a pour.
    Other FAQs: https://grimmales.com/faqs/

Nearby breweries/bars: Interboro, The Well, Beer Street, KCBC, Barcade, Matt Torrey's, Noorman's Kil, Sugarburg, more than I care to list. Hell even Spuyten Duyvil is just within a 20 minute walk. Best to Google it if you're looking for something specific.

Nearby bottle shops: CraftBeer & Smoke Shop, Campbell Cheese & Grocery, Beer Karma, Beer Boutique.

Nearby food: Roberta's, Arrogant Swine, Masha & The Bear, Ammazzacaffè, Champs Diner (vegan), gonna quit again as too many options. Yelp what you're in the mood for.

The NY Today's Special is absolutely fascinating. Really cool expression of the hops, and the base beer is so so clean. Today's Special is up there with Boat and Sneakbox for me regarding low-ABV hoppy beers

Anyone have any experience aging a bottle of Double Negative? Wondering if there’s a peak time somewhere, or is it one to drink fresh?
    Thanks

@BoardwalkBock was raving about a 2016 bottle in last months thread.

Yup! That beer ages well between 1-3 years IMO. I had a 2015 last year.

Was at the new years party, very well done. Great beer (of course) with good food, good dj, and just the right number of tickets sold.

Looking forward to future events at the tap room!

I'm almost positive it's a no-dog policy now with Samesa prepping food in the space, though at one point they were allowed. If that's changed, someone correct me because I'd love to bring my dog to more breweries.

Official FAQs list dogs as OK. They're pretty good about updating their website in my experience, so I would assume they're A-OK.

No more L train shutdown. I'd imagine Grimm is pretty happy about that.

Here's to hoping it's not like the PATH-WTC station plan where the L is shutdown nearly every weekend for the next two years...

Dogs are currently allowed, hopefully we'll continue to have no issues so we can keep it that way!

    Seriously? that's fantastic

That's almost definitely going to be the case. They're still going to "fix" it without a full shutdown, so I have to imagine that will mean it's shut down basically every weekend.

What I heard is that they are shutting down one of the tubes at a time so there should be service on weekends still, just reduced.

Fine by this Bed-Stuy'er. Quiet Williamsburg Weekends would be delightful.
