I do not want to know. Is this my third booze pic to a page? Sad. Does not matter. Done with beer. Maybe a night cap of something other.

I agree. Not drinking beer so I should not post.

    Namaste my friends.

One of the worst beers I have ever had. $6 for a complete onion field drain pour. Why I continue to buy Revision is beyond me.

Revision Scrog Grog (if you were wondering):

Three Floyds CheerTeam IPA. Just an all-around solid IPA. Cheers!

That sucks . . . Same feelings about the Jackie O's I just had. I keep spending $11-$13 on these "world class stouts" and am almost always 90% of the time left wishing I had just bought an old reliable instead

Why so embarrassed to hide the Breckenridge Small Batch 471 logo on that glass?, we won't judge you.:grin:

    Going with another Colorado lager...

A very tasty lager, light but with distinctive character in the aroma and flavor. Well-balanced and very easy drinking.

Awesome DIPA. Fantastic head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 9.5%. Amazing El Dorado, Citra, Azacca profile as expected. Awesome mix of juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. They nailed it. 4.13

I've been in a surly mood today. I wasn't planning on having anything, but I needed a mood adjuster. I was torn between a MILF or Surly. I chose Surly Darkness, I'll save the MILF for some other time.

Though, I could use a good MILF tonight.

    RIP Super Dave.

Fremont BA Dark Star. My best friend moved to Seattle earlier this year and sent me the awesome Fremont merch shown here. I've said it before: this beer is on par with BCBS, one of my all-time favorites.

This is not a good beer, but at $1.25 a bottle for a 10% abv beer, I'm not complaining.

    Sierra Nevada Brut IPA

This is my second Brut IPA. The first one was crap from a brewery that is so used to making really bad NEIPAs that they just made another really bad NEIPA and called it a Brut IPA .

This one is spot on for what I expected from the style. The carbonation is crazy lively (as you can see in the pic) and it finishes dry as a bone. Essentially a champagne mouthfeel that tastes like beer. In this effort the hops run herbal and grassy, very little citrus or other fruit. Honestly, for me it is difficult to assess the bitterness because it is soooo dry.

I would like to try a Brut IPA with most of the above, but some fruitier hops. Not necessarily the deep, rich tropical fruit in modern IPAs, but maybe a hop(s) that produces some white grape or tart apple. Maybe Nelson Sauvin? The SN effort is really good though...

Moving on to a third Colorado beer (also excellent)...

Hazy, citrus juice looking body with a fairly thin head. Heady aroma of peaches and brett funk. Tart and juicy, emphasizing fermented peach and cherry flavors. Medium body; tart and tangy.

"Onion field drain pour"? Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy. I didn't see Summit anywhere on the hop bill for that beer. :astonished:
