Good evening all, I am always looking for new places to take the wifey on date night that have both great food and a great taplists. Let me know your favs.

I frequent Whetstone in Brattleboro, all the places in Waterbury Vermont especially Blackback, in NH New England Tap House.

Would really like to know some other places in New England that fit the bill.

Not really thinking breweries more restaurants with great outside vendor taplists.

    Thanks

Around the NH/ME seacoast, Row 34, The Black Birch, When Pigs Fly, and York River Landing have some pretty killer taplists.

Armsby is all world and Black Birch close 2nd and has the best food. 3 Penny in Montpelier. Worthy Burger multiple locations. Tons of Portland options - I like Little Tap House.

In White River Junction Big Fatty's BBQ (not a real date night place I guess) and Trail Break Taps and Tacos have great tap lists.
Worthy Kitchen in Woodstock (mentioned above).
    The Bench in Stowe
    Doc Ponds in Stowe
    Cornerstone Pub in Barre

Up way north is Parker Pie. (near Hill Farmstead)

If you make it out to Burlington, Farm House Tap and Grill
    Mule Bar in Winooski

Three Penny and Blackback are my top two in the area.

Where in NH are you located?

Around Boston my personal favorite is Five Horses Tavern in Somerville. Lulus in Allston is pretty great too.

I’m in Charlestown NH right on the river. sorry I know most of those places. I frequent the Vermont beer scene often as it is near by. Was looking more for help in Maine, Massachusetts that I don’t know that well. Hoping to do a Portland trip this summer.

    Ok.
Portland has a ton of great options, some mentioned above.
Little Tap House is one of my favorites
Kings Head is great Old Port spot too.
Nosh always has great beer and tasty food options.
(I won't mention the more popular places that are often discussed)

One a bit outside of the city in Cape Elizabeth is Bird Dog Roadhouse. Can be in conjunction with visit to Fort Williams or Two Lights parks.

Not in Portland area, but this place is worth a visit. Ebenezer's in Lovell

Agree, and would add on Pai Men Miyake.

And be sure to ask for the "cellar beer menu".

I a big fan of Lulu's and Row 34. Never an inexpensive experience though.

Love that spot. What's on the cellar beer menu? Will be in Portland in a few weeks and was planning to eat there one of the nights.

A "special" menu of vintage bottles they have. Be sure to ask nicely.

Also, get the brussel sprouts if you haven’t before. Those things started me down a dark path of trying to find an equal. 8 years later I still haven’t.
