    16 oz. can.
    Canned 11/12/18.
Moderate pour yields a 3/4 white head over a very hazy golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit (mango) and citrus (orange, lime.) Taste mirrors nose nicely with a slight citrus pith bitterness on the finish. This is a real smooth IPA with a nice feel and overall, a delicious, near sessionable IPA.
    Cheers!!!

Fair State 2018 FSB RIS, 13.9% ABV, 70 IBU. Pours thick like oil, pitch black, with a slight dark brown head on an aggressive pour. Nose is roast malt, vanilla, and a faint citrus. Taste is all roast malt, with a moderate to heavy bitter close. Smooth and thick mouthfeel. Overall excellent, though a bit too bitter for my taste.

I have to admit that after a night of too many (most nights), if I go to the gym I sweat like hell but feel great when done. And then the cycle repeats itself.

This is the first time I have started a weekend with a sour beer. But this beer is worth it!

Enjoy seeing this beer posted. Reminds me of Hemingway’s Nick Adams stories.

I will see if I can get it here. If not, I may have to request a favor that you send one or two.

BTW, how are you doing my friend? You seem, what we said in my day, your are back to fighting weight., Pounds are not the point.

You do know that if you see a Veil or any Richmond beer you want, just let me and I will see what I can do.

2nd beer and probably last. Probably gonna go back to sleep after this. Some moron last night decided to drink tequila after eating a jalapeno McChicken. Woke up at 4am with stomach cramps dreaming a coworker was singing a duet with Rob Halford. Speaking of Halford.

Excellent IPA. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 7%. Awesome Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Simcoe, Vic Secret profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great bready malt backbone, minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. Feels like an East/West coast hybrid. Really impressive. 4
