I bought one 4-pk but haven’t had one yet...saw the crazy milkshake profile and figured it needs a few weeks to settle. I planned to test one can next weekend after it’s 2 weeks old in hopes that it peaks after some time.

In other news, latest batch of Space Diamonds is dialed in. This should be one of the beers in the mythical “to go” fridge that we all want to see at OH.

 

Any idea if anything will be available still by tomorrow afternoon, I'm guessing orbits will be a no go?

 

There’s a serious 4oz false-negative phenomena that I feel isn’t talked about enough. Can’t prove this with actual science, but I’m anecdotaly comvinced you can’t judge anything (besides a stout) by a 4oz taster. I’ve been underwelmed by many a little glass of a many thing that always tastes better in a big glass. Tremendous Cream 4oz last week at the brewery was meh. The growler I cracked tonight was phenomenal. @rozzom, I imagine blueberry crunch suffered the same fate, but I didn’t get a chance with that one yet.

 

I’m sure there will still be some cans by the afternoon. Having a hard time telling how long the Sand City will last since they sent some up to Rochester and it’s likely the highest demand this weekend.

triple idaho is nice. has that enigma funk. still not sure why this or triple citra need lactose.

double infinity was good (nice execution) but had it after galaxy+nelson and thats not fair.

wish they had this batch of space diamonds on draft.

I 100% agree with you that 4oz isn’t enough to properly judge a beer. But for me personally it’s enough to know if I don’t like it / am lukewarm about it. I can think of beers that have been good after 4oz and then great after more, or vice versa. But can’t think of one that I found mediocre/poor that I did a 180 on after drinking more

I don’t think Sicker Than Your Average is that bad, tastes like a very muted version of Space Hallucinations. I was expecting saccharine nightmare fuel given what people said here. Blueberry Crunchee is ok, their other vanilla lactose Berliners are generally better tho.
