It’s sunny today, but a cold Heady Topper at the beach is as good as it gets.

Welcome to the BA site, Danisauro. It's unseasonably warm here today (41F) but the beach at Lake Michigan is not warm enough for me to hang out there without a source of heat. I could probably stay long enough to drink a bourbon barrel-aged Expedition from Bell's, and then I'd skedaddle to a heated bar for whatever looks good.

It's a balmy above average 45 degrees Fahrenheit in South Dakota today, so I'm grilling and having my go-to BA stouts. I'd drink the same thing on a beach, though wouldn't say no to a good hefeweizen.

Hopefully you'd be drinking your Corona from a can, instead of emulating the commercial, playing volleyball while the clear bottles sit in a tub of ice, in the sun, skunking.

Its been raining on and off all day and is quite a bit nippy up here in Northern California... at least for what were used to. Local bar has the SN 1979 Stout on tap so my night will consist of a few of those.

As for a perfect beach beer, I'd be going back and forth between fresh Pivo Pils or a nice crisp westcoast ipa from Pizza Port, Kook comes to mind!

Ten Fidy or Two Hearted. I know, I'm old school.

No beaches in my life now, but back in my younger days beer was the farthest thing on my mind!

The beaches here are mostly rocky and we've been having a lot of wind and rain storms lately. So, I'd go gather up a bunch of driftwood, start a fire, and crack open a few Cedar Dust IPAs from Boundary Bay.

The last time I had a beer at the beach, it was this one. However, anything comparable will suffice.

If I’d be in Ireland on a beach In January I’d ask for a Guinness Foreign extra Stout.

Corona? Come on paddy mate, I use this to flush the toilets...

If I was at the shore, I'd be concerned with having the right beer on hand that the pretty girls drink. Coors Light. Is it still Coors Light?

    And welcome to the site.

Seems like that would take a lot of beer, since the next person who comes along will flush it again (and again and again) thinking the last user forgot.

It’s been a mainly snowless, drab, depressing winter here. I’m dreaming of having a stovepipe SeaQuench in Naples, FL right about now.

Spotted Cow, ice cold. Easy drinking, enough flavor to hold your interest, sessional, and available in cans.
Unseasonably warm, cloudy, drab winter in Wisconsin so a beach with sunshine and a cooler full beer sounds mighty nice!

I am assuming you mean a tropical beach, or a temperate beach on a hot summer day. I would go with a Hefeweizen, Helles Lager, or a Belgian Blonde or Pale Ale as my first choices. Damn, that sucks, you just reminded me it has been 23 months now since I have been to a beach.

Not a fan of beaches, let along sunny weather. Now, something like this...

    Scotch ale or Dubbel

You live in Cali but don't like sunny weather? If you came here to PA, you could enjoy a minimum of 250 days a year with gray skies and gloom.
