This sale brought back fond memories from yesteryear. Oh how I pined for those toilet-reading worthy Instagram comment sections just one more time. I didn’t think I would see them ever again with the increase in production and the ease of all the sales last year. I was wrong. Thank you for this, BL. It means a lot.

What a paradox! Beer release anxiety and yoga!? Maybe the yoga helps you get through it?

 

Unfortunately, I couldn't get my extra bottles. We have two, so we're happy with that, but man, I was in the middle of the Mojave driving back from Red Rock going to Jtree. Service was...spotty at best, almost until 29 Palms.

 

Got to be able to breathe and focus between the seconds in order to click at the right moment.

Of course not, I pack out, and I also pick up crud that was left by other people. We were at Hall of Horrors, the Meadows Boulder.

The place was cleaner when I left than it was when I got there.

Always follow that phrase, "leave it better than you found it." When I was rock climbing outdoors we would always bring along extra trash bags and clean up after some less than respectful campers.

 

If by chance you're looking for someone to drain pour them on, I am a willing participant.

Is there a date for Week of Logic yet? Assuming it will be March 17-23?

 

The lovely bureaucrats at the city of Anaheim decided that they can’t tell you whether a permit you applied for is good to go until the week of the event. For that reason, Week of Logic is not announced until very shortly before it’s set to happen, in the event that the city does what it does best which is constantly disrupt people trying to enjoy their lives.

These heroic ladies and gentlemen are also the same reason BL’s expansion is in gridlock. So the next time you’re in the tasting room and you’re elbow to elbow with a dude who has 2 year-old Dorito dust in his beard, wearing gym shorts and sandals, chugging 13% stouts, you can thank the mayor and their cohorts.

 

As @BreakingMyBalls noted, Anaheim is a pure joy to work with when it comes to breweries and planning. No dates have been announced yet, but the 3/17-3/23 is roughly the week it happens historically, so that’s what I’m personally planning on.

Such a joy that they even call themselves Brew City! It's even on the city's website! SO MUCH JOY.

 

I’m going based purely on that being the traditional week. However, I’ll be happy to fulfill your bottle pick up order again this year whenever the party is as I’m Planning on volunteering several days as usual.

 

Not looking forward to being jammed into the tasting room today

 

Especially with only 2 1/2 kegs.
