    Brewed for Fat Orange Cat Brew Co.
    by Dorchester Brewing Co. Boston, MA.

    Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a medium amber body with some sticky lacing. Nose of cocoa, bitter chocolate, slight vanilla, and even slighter coffee. Taste mirrors nose somewhat with the chocolate and vanilla way out front. As it warms a flavor of light and sweet coffee comes through. Okay to good feel and overall, an interesting take on the rare and elusive white stout.

    Last can of the (11/12/)2018 batch. This 5.8% Alvarado Street Brewing / Sante Adairius Rustic Ales collab was once the best Pale Ale I've ever tasted in 2016. But although the 2017 batch was terrible, this 2018 batch ain't bad.

    I get a little bit of melon, pineapple, grapefruit, and some assertive (but not aggressive) bitterness on the finish. Cheers to your Monday!

    Double excitement this afternoon. First, news that we're getting Toppling Goliath in Jacksonville! I won't be early enough to make the can release, so I don't expect to get any (sad face), but I'll be at the keg tapping the following day.


    Second, I'm equally excited to get into some Short's Brewing Superfluid DIPA courtesy of a massive BIF assault from @strohme2 :

    The first - and only - time I had this brew was in March of 2014. Nearly 5 years later, my palate has undoubtedly changed. It strikes me as more bitter now than it did then, but that's likely the adjustment to all the low-bitterness IPAs on the market today. I'm not adjusting my rating at all; it seems about right.

    Getting started on some spaghetti for tonight while I'm at it. Triple excitement. :slight_smile:
