    Our challenge as a group this year is to come up with a new term to cover overly sweet stouts. Diabeetus needs to be decommissioned.

    Garbage? Sweet stouts are an embarrassment to stouts as a whole except maybe Conclave and Kane's.

    EDIT and I know Kane's are porters but my point remains. Also, APA,IPA,IIPA and IIIPA are the same beer just at different ABVs. Fight me!!!!

    Super sweet and artificial tasting yes, but I do like some sweet stouts besides the ones you mentioned. And also only every now and then. They can definitely be too much.

    So can we assume Sat Jan 26th (weekend before Super Bowl) for the 5th anniversary release?

    Really hoping it’s not a tose beer....what are the chances?

    I'm thinking they know a good amount (pun intended) of people can't drink their lactose beers, and they'd prefer to have more people enjoy an Anni beer.

    I’m pretty sure every Anniversary release has been the 2nd weekend of February. I cannot confirm this as I am still banned from viewing their IG page, but I do not ever remember having cans of an Anni beer for the superbowl.

    This, hoping its just another normal dry hopped beer. Also last year it was first weekend of Feb, and 3rd was last of Jan as others have said, dont remember the previous ones. But its always been early feb/late jan as I have usually had a few cans left for my ski/snowboard trip presidents day weekend
