I recommend this one, not the previous. Ellsworth IPA from Stoneyard. Cheers.

No, the only thing she said was she thought you were trying to kill me by sending such high octane stuff. My brother in law cautioned me not to drink it as fast as I do all beers. It would be like drinking four Buds in 15 minutes. Not that he has not done that.

It was a good beer. It just somehow got lost in the shuffle. But it met its demise tonight.

    Hows life going dude?

Wasn't gonna drink the beer or smoke the pot today but, a couple Goodwill scores put an axe to that but, hey I have calories to spare and I have actual vegetables in my veggie drawer where I was keeping this now.

All is well thanks. Hopefully the same for you. That one really does need to be sipped. Tell your wife I like you too much to try and kill you.

Closer for the evening, Cannons DIPA by LIC Beer Project, whoa. This is awesome. Looks and smells new school, definitely has a creamy, almost grape-like old school taste. I would never think this was a DIPA at all. Don’t taste any alcohol. Cheers my brothas and sistas!

Grabbing four of these yesterday was a nice surprise, and it has put faith in my nearest liquor store down the street from me:

That damn @TheIPAHunter tricked me into liking her! Maybe next album she’ll record a song called ‘Raul.’

New Glarus Cabin Fever, which is sort of a maibock but with a touch of honey. 1st time I ever had it on draft. I’ve had bottles before. But tonight is a different experience. Brilliant clarity and the honey is quite noticeable, but without being obnoxious. Kudos to whoever started maintaining the draft lines, because this may be the best pour I’ve ever had at this joint.

More new Milkshake IPAs. This was excellent. Great fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy, silky, bready malts/lactose; and slight sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 7.5%. Feels like a lot of Citra/Mosaic. Very juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced lactose and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering bitter dryness. Spot on stuff as expected. No complaints. 4

Last of the six pack. I am getting horribly close to finishing all beers on hand. I see a road trip to a brewery tomorrow. Need to stock up in case we get a lot of snow this weekend. Maybe I should just take the weekend off and not drink any beer. No. Hell no.

Breckenridge's Snow Glare Hoppy Wheat......A very nice hoppy wheat ale, mellow, but a good wheat filled base, and a good mix of mellow hops.
