    I am drinking Ommegang's 21st anniversary ale, a saison brewed with Cinnamon, ginger and lemon peel, mixed with fine apple cider, ABV 6.80%. I am going backwards in time, I recently had their 22nd anniversary ale. It is like drinking spiced champagne with saison yeast. There's sourdough bread, you can taste the Cinnamon and the ginger, it's tart, apple, grapes, there's a hop bite tasting like grapefruit or lemon peel at the end, and a wonderful sourdough and Spice aroma. It is light but well carbonated. I like it.

    Going with a classic doppelbock while watching football and waiting to join our neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Tactical Bob at Cerberus Brewing to commemorate Tactical Bob's 81st birthday...



    ...I can't wait to answer Tactical Bob's inevitable question about whether I got any "new toys" and I let him know about my new bolt action .22LR. That should be right up there with my "un-manly" .32 ACP carry gun -- my job and every day activities aren't conducive to letting me carry my much loved 1911 .45 ACPs. I may let him off somewhat easy by telling him about my nearly 500 round acquisition of .308 Win match ammo for my M1A)..

    ...Rocket the Wonder Dog shows his appreciation for good beer and hearing that his friend Tactical Bob is showing up in a few minutes...



    Loved seeing Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul in West Berlin at the Metropol back in the day (loved their debut album prior to starting my military career)...

    Ol factory pils. New pup right here we rescued. Eagles game on. Brother needs to chill cuz he already jumped up and down and all the pots in the kitchen fell last year the chandelier fell out the ceiling thanks to him. If eagles win again! There'll be a riot from here to Boston is my prediction. Im no fan but they are truly diehard out here albeit obnoxious. We in philly country here so god help us all. Lol but to be honest the fact that Foles isn't a starter but has best post season rating is a shame. cheers.
