I wish they would distribute further west.

    Cheers!

I agree. I wish I could find some of their beers as far West as Boulder. I think some of their stuff does make it to Hazels, but I don’t spend too much time in there.

They are showing up on south metro shelves. Picked up triple double and DDHJB recently. The canned stouts and a few achromatics have made their way down, but not my cup of tea.

Not my cup of Swiss Miss, either.

That can be Neil's next venture. Who am I kidding, @Tarheel4985 has probably already brewed it. With double drymallow additions.

I wonder what the plans for 2019 are? If I had to guess, I'd say more releases for the barrel program, and a bunch of new beers but not 120 or whatever they got up to last year.

I thought that number had to be the highest number of new beers from a brewery in 2018. I was sadly mistaken.

Yes, other half put out 150 new beers last year. Most were IPAs with different hop combinations.

I would venture to say, as a non brewer, what WeldWerks accomplished is far more difficult than the 150, or so, beers Other Half put out in 2018.

Tend to agree - I’d also say that there’s nothing more exciting as a consumer than having something new AND interesting rotating through. Doesn’t need to be 100+ in a year, but beer exploration is wickedly cool. Love the thought and effort these guys and gals put into their brews.

Well, I don't know. Sure, probably 100 of them were IPAs, but they also ventured out into different fruited sours, they started making Stouts, and did a bunch of collabs.

But I would say that Weldwerks has a bit more "Range" in styles and beers within those styles.
Like, stouts from 6% to 15%, Barrel aged and not, milk stouts, coffee stouts, Imperial Stouts. Adjuncted and "pure" Medianoche variants. Different barrels. All the different Achromatic variants. And that's just "dark beers".

It hardly seems fair for someone who lives in Colorado to favorably compare a Colorado brewery to a Brooklyn brewery that doesn't even distribute.

It hardly seems fair for someone who lives in Virginia to negatively compare a Colorado centric comment without context. You know what they say about opinions.....:sunglasses:

Well said. Not sure why I couldn’t have made my comments as succinctly and as eloquently as yours.

i do wish they could keep retailers stocked up on Juicy Bits, but I get that there are capacity issues and other priorities at work.

(grateful for what we DO get; please don't doxx me, identify where I work, and cut my boss off! "No Bits for you!")

I heard they might be distributing to the Western Slope. Any truth to this?

    Cheers!

I've seen December Juicy Bits 4-packs "turding" on shelves in a number of north Denver stores. Some even have it on sale. I realize it's tougher to find down south though.
