Jammer is on the mild side in that regard. Ditto Lost Nation Gose, though in a different way. I like Jammer, though it's probably my least favorite of all the ones I've tried.

Maybe give Westbrook Gose a try? The basic one, not any variants.
Evil Twin Mission Gose (has eucalyptus, with a champagne-like quality), Evil Twin/Two Roads Geyser Gose , various Two Roads fruited goses, the Stillwater Gose Gone Wild Variants, Dogfish Head Sea Quench,Avery El Gose, and the various Anderson Valley goses , all have that stronger flavor profile that you seem to want . I would start with Westbrook's though, if possible.

True enough. Philip Rivers had a hex wrench put to his body all day!

    Hello Late Night NBS
Well thanks to @akatz821 I just popped this beauty.
Mystery Beer #4 from our little NBS BIF 8.5.
His hint: "A collar of sorts."
OK. Pours a turbid golden orange. Yep, it's hazy. A fluffy froth rises assertively from the swirl. 2 of my fingers, and a bit more. Slowly recedes, and keeps a milky, off white pond scum cap. I see this as a compliment. Decent lacing.
Smells burst forth. It's definitely an NEIPA. I'm getting a bright floral citrus note. Really enticing. It's got a bit of lemon flower blossoms, orange flower blossoms, and a sweetness that conjures tangerine juice. I'm also getting a slight peppery note on the back end, that finally allows a hint of pithy grapefruit.
Taste is much of the same, but some pineapple comes in, gets a little more tropical as it warms, pushing the citrus back. Slowly, it moves in a dank direction, with a kiss of onion.
Mouthfeel is medium. But it's both creamy and a bit fluffy.
    Ok... Let's see this.

Galaxy + Vic's Secret IIPA by Other Half

    Wow!!!
This is quite good. I've had a few experiences with Vic's Secret that left me gun shy. I must reconsider.

    Thanks Azi!!!

Thank you! I appreciate the suggestions. I will definitely look out for some of these on my next run. :-) I believe I actually have the dogfish head sea quench in my fridge now- I was debating whether or not to crack it open tonight. Lol.

I'm glad the prognosis is good, but still hate the C-word. I've had too much of that crap in my family. Your positive outlook is your strength. Sending CANsiderably high amounts of positive vibes.

Interesting observation about the use of foudres in brewing. Personally, I first encountered the term back when learning/exploring some things about wine and wine making IIRC, in that world a foudre is just this great huge wooden fermentation container and souring is undesirable/unwanted. So it never occurred to me till just now that brewers might be using them only for sours rather than for the benefits/effects of aging in wood.

Thanks for the kind, wise words. I try to do as many things as I can but my life was so hectic for so many years there are many days I just enjoy to sit and write or play music and not even make it off the property. My success out in the woods last year has me psyched and already booked up with friends to go out with me for the entire season. If the weather's good I plan to go out every day.

You should come up a day, and we'll hit Mountain Brauhaus after, I'll get the first rounds.
