Delicious, I love a good sub 7% IPA. Cool Rakau vibe and meshes with my memory of the previous batch.

Catch Wave is similarly good but I went home with MC personally.

Curious to see how this stands up to Russian River Supplication/Consecration . . .

Exactly what I was thinking. I’ll have to grab a few bottles for science.

Worth noting that both the RR beers have fruit additions, Shadow Work does not.

Our goal was to make a really authentic, purist Flanders Red/Brown ale. So it's inspired more by Liefman's Goudenband or Rodenbach Grand Cru. It's less sour than the russian river.

Ugh I need this. Rodenbach was one of my entry beers into this world...

It's winter, where are all the stouts? We have seen DN, Babka and the cake porter, is that it?

I'm surprised how often new bottles are coming out, but not complaining. I stop by at some point probably every other week. I'll probably grab two Shadow Work bottles both because of the beer and the price, but everything else recently has been 1 bottle for me. Also, I'd prefer 750s over the 500ml bottles(particularly with a 6% beer), but I guess that's being done less and less in general.

Yeah, I'm hoping for one or two more before spring. Their stouts have been great.

My local bottle shop here in No. Virginia had single cans of Living Daylights. I've yet to meet a sour I won't try, so I grabbed a couple, and am I ever glad I did. Really good stuff. I'll keep my eye out for more Grimm stuff in the future.

Butterfly Door is exceptional. The brewery was so damn packed at 4pm so I didn’t get to try anything else but good for them!

Shadow Work is really great. Its got a balanced tartness with a little funk.
The fruited sours have been good, but this is one of my favorites.

The gang of us who went to Sixpoint release were there around that time. Place was absolutely packed, good for Grimm but it is not an enjoyable experience to be jammed in there.
