    Good day, all! I'm drinking this and I'm reasonably certain you're not: Minnesota Landbier, from the August Schell Stag Series. From the label: "This lager is made with 100% Minnesota ingredients including our locally grown Fort Road malt and Minnesota wild rice." Paired with a breakfast sandwich 'cause that's what's for lunch at chez dcotom. Prost!

    A damn fine brown ale from a new (to me) Colorado Springs brewery -- Deuces Wild...

    ...on tap at Oskar Blues in the Springs...



    Warm, rich and nutty with a nice charred sugar and caramel flavor. Bitterness is wellzbalanced.

    Last can of this Henhouse / Social Kitchen collab. It's a 6.5% Brut IPA with El Dorado, Strata and Hallertau Blanc.

    I said it before on another WBAYD but I think the result is an odd combo. It's a little citrusy and melon-like, so it's non-offensive to drink. But I'm not a fan of the back-end herbal aftertaste. I like green beers, but I think there's something about this hop blend that doesn't work?

    I'm halfway through a Blue Mountain Barrel House Dark Hollow bourbon barrel aged stout. It's f'ing awesome. I'm relatively inexperienced at the BBA Stout thing, due to their cost. But I have a relatively well off aunt-in-law who likes me and feels bad that I can't afford really good beer. This one is full of oak, milk chocolate, vanilla and bourbon. I only wish I had more.
