    Been excited to try this, since I saw it at FW's shop when I visited late 2017. Never had a pumpkin sour (but I hear Cascade's is great).

    Yeah... it's nearly 3 years old from the bottling date now, so that may color my perception. But I really enjoyed this one. I don't think it has much pumpkin character, but as a woody sour, it's really nicely done. Medium tartness, plenty of oak character, some sweetness to counter balance, and maybe a touch of a cinnamon-like note which my mind may be tricking me on, since I see pumpkin. I'd love to try it fresh one day, but I'm digging this as is.

    Happy birthday! I won’t catch up with you in age until August.

    I’m definitely jealous of everyone who can put away so many beers. Last time I had 3 doubles and a couple other pints in a night, I regretted it.

    So his beer was given to me at The Ginger Man in New York by a great guy, not knowing that Kane is a brewery I’d had high on my list of breweries to try. Now I get to... huge thanks to the most gentlemanly of gentlemen, @TheGent. Thank you, Anthony!

    A "Black Gose" brewed with Rwandan coffee and cocoa beans. Sounded rather interesting, but there is not that much coffee/chocolate flavor coming through on the tongue, really, even though the aroma is rather noticeable in the nose. Still nice enough though.

    Following up the "Black Gose" with a "Black" Berliner Weiße, also brewed with coffee, as well as raspberries. The coffee is similarily subtle here, but it does have a rather nice tart and spritzy raspberry note to it.

    Okay BA, I’m back and with a bargain of a beer. $4 for a 4-pack, a Hefeweizen Hell, and I gotta admit, I like it. It’s got banana (duh!). It’s there throughout the entire sip but it doesn’t bash you over the head with it. Pretty nice thickness from the wheat. Got a nice crispness/clove too that makes this super drinkable. Gonna get more, especially at that price. Prost! @TongoRad @zid

    Recovery definitely gets harder and longer the older I get it sucks. Boot and rally are not part of my vocabulary anymore unfortunately.
