    “Cave Aged and Barrel Aged” - a dark lager (doppelbock of sorts, as I recall) aged in bourbon barrels for a handful of months:

    Seems like I missed out on finding the packaged beer last year, but I always make an effort to find it on draught, too, and it never disappoints!

    I am drinking the bitter fact that my right hand fingers may not recover from the saw incident. Therefore I am drinking too much on a work night. I am an industrial Technician 6 years away from retirement (joke, I will never retire) who may not be able to get the big $$ much longer. BTW I am drinking Highlands Brewing Gaelic Ale. To excess. Good stuff.

    That one was my favorite of the most recent batch of sampler pack Stag Series stashes. Pretty sure I need to revisit it before my local package store sells-through last year’s allotment. :sunglasses:

    Sticking to today's theme with this seaweed and satsuma Gose. The seaweed really doesn't come through that much at all, unfortunately, but there certainly is a mouth-puckering sourness and light saltiness to this, with a good tangerine note. Nice, although perhaps a bit too overly sour, which I personally don't mind too much.
