A deliciously juicy offering from Fat Heads and Barley Browns. Huge aromas of pineapple, mango and grapefruit. This is a straight up juicy west coast ipa with toned down bitterness at 65 ibu's . . . Really a terrific beer. Cheers !

    Citra-Zaic from Junkyard Brewing.

Pours a murky orangish color. The head is 2 finger, white, frothy, and has decent retention. Some of the foam clings to the glass as it dissipates.
The nose is quite full of citrus. Orange, lemon, and other citrus. Quite pleasing.
Taste - Nicely hopped. I get a lot of lemon in the taste, but it's more on the back. Orange is up front, and it turns into the lemon. Just a slight hint of pine on the backside, but very slight.
The body is thick, and full. There's some carbonation in play, and it is pleasing on my palate.
Solid, and tasty IPA from Junkyard.

Incredible sour. Great dense head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, fruit skin/pits, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit/wine tang; and light yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, fruit/wine tang, and some oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, no puckering. Super smooth, not overly lactic, zero warming 7%. Amazing balance of juicy peaches and Brett/bacteria complexity; with great wine barrel presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Another easy winner, my favorite sour from them so far. 4.28

Dionysus Hazy Mazy - pretty good, but at $12 a pour, I think it may be the most expensive draft beer I’ve ever had:

Always excellent. Flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, honey, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with balanced cinnamon, ginger, clove, and herbal spice earthiness. Hints of cherry/raisin yeast fruitiness. Light herbal/spice bitterness on the finish. Creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel with slight spice stickiness. Touch of dryness. Very smooth and drinkable. I prefer the Thirsty Dog version, but this is always delicious every year regardless. Perfectly balanced bready malt, honey, and spices; with mild complementing fruity English yeast notes. Still have plenty left, my parents gave me a bunch of it last month for free.

I'm a heathen who poured a Maduro into my glass without cleaning it out after my last beer.

    Who cares. Maduro is amazing.
