    The pink elephant is rarely seen in this thread, my taste evolved a bit and I like it better than Duvel now.
    In even more boring news, my heater is out of order right in January. Bummer.

    Pretty average except for the slight odor and taste of lychee.

    Yesterday was an alcohol free day, one of hopefully several to come this month...a cold front blew in and it’s been windy and 50s, perfect jacket weather for long walks with dogs. Back now and on my “second” cup of coffee - FBS (8/28/18):

    Many thanks, that happened over the weekend; I volunteered months ago for helping out cleaning the international part of BA (and only this area) hence the good news is that I have no power on WBAYDN and will let you guys joke around mindlessly late at night. :wink:

    Light yellow color with bright white cap with good lacing.

    Aroma of sweet malt, some yeast bread component. Hops are floral and clean but not very strong.

    Taste is malt forward but hops quickly take over mid palate to the finish which is clean and short with a lasting hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

    Czig meister dark sovereign, a barrel aged Belgian style quad. With cherries.
    Not pretty to look at but the aroma is cherry,vinegar,dark fruit. The taste is not sweet,almost dry and the cherries and dark fruit coat the tongue in a really nice way. Just trying half of a 750 to start the rest of the day off[​IMG]fev fallout 3
