The duvel glass is perfection. I do wish I could get an unbranded version. I've tried to remove the logo with acetone and starsan without ANY success. If the Simon Pearce had the same capacity of the Duvel, I would bite the bullet, but no dice...

You can contact Anchor Hocking and they should be able to send a free sample.

I lean towards 16oz plus, so I'm considering the Simon Pearce stout glass.

Tulips are my favorite glassware by far. Its not even close. Large snifter glasses are great as well.

-I'd check Amazon and Ebay if I were you.

I agree plus that glass might actually be used to hold candles

They are super beefy....I’ve dropped mine in the sink washing it a few times with no problem.

I hand wash my glasses after having a beer or two, and have dinged my Snörkel Libby Belgian Ale glass on the faucet a number of times, but no problem yet. I'm sure my crystal Bourbon County glass wouldn't have survived.

I’d die if I broke my BC glass or my HF Balloon glass, it’s why I very rarely use them. I use daily with what I call an acceptable loss, and I’m hell on Martini glass, those thin stems have no shot at longevity.

The large Essex tulip holds ~22 Oz despite what the website says.

Here’s the beer drinking now. That’s a full 16 in the glass. Rejoice!

Yep, you'll still have trouble sometimes trying to get the 16 oz in.

Cheaper, yes. Better, I doubt it. Practical, probably not. Still....

You probably know already, but Libbey is often if not always made in the states.

The use of the best type of glass for your type of beers is overrated, I don't think it helps keep some flavors for a special kind of beers. As long as you don't have a whole in your glass, you won't see the difference...
