Side note: how do you guys get each other's addresses? Do you just send beer between each other so much that ninja boxes are just muscle memory?

 

I have a hard time putting restrictions on who is allowed in this BIF. When swenny started this, I had a total of one trade and that was completed less than a month prior to the start. Fast forward a year and I still only have one trade since BIFs are so much more fun and I don't like negotiating much. I feel I have acquitted myself well in the two previous iterations of this BIF and others I have joined (sorry @Vidblain you got my first box and I think they've only gotten better). Also, we've had two guys flake out so far (1 in each round) out of 50 or so total, which isn't awful odds all things considered. And for every one that flakes we get other newbies like @Oconomowocian and @SouthernSips among others who have exceeded any expectations that would have been put on a newcomer.

That said, if some of us "veterans" want to let @swenny916 know that we would be willing to bombard someone's porch like we did in the first round, I think that would work well and it doesn't have to be public because a surprise box seems to be a bit more fun.

@JodiB welcome to our band of fools. Maybe a female presence will make this a place a bit more proper, but I doubt it.

I had one included in a LIF that I won for a football pool. Haven't opened it yet and am waiting to find a good time to pair it with the non-BA Expedition Stout.

I wasn't going to name names, but I noticed the same thing and anticipate a box heading to the NW at some point before this round ends. Go ahead, @beertunes, try and stop me.

 

Ask @swenny916 or the previous round's sender for the addresses. I've had good luck that way and have kept the addresses for all those who I've sent to or received from.

 

Yep, pretty much this. I happen to have yours only because I was your sender last round, but I would normally ask @swenny916 .

If I remember correctly, you're from Rochester, right? Being from Buffalo, that doesn't scare me. The fact that you run the NBS BIF and that group is another level of crazy, that gives me a bit of pause.

If you followed the last NBS BIF, you'll have noticed a bit of a "Civil War" happened. So much so that even some of the biggest porch-wreckers involved were crying uncle. Imagine all of them, shipping you light-struck Corona and Heineken. EVERY DAMN DAY.

A couple of years ago the Locals had a Civil War -- North vs. South, randomly assigned/chosen targets -- I think I sent 12 beers apiece to Texas, South Carolina, and Kentucky. I've also been involved in some cross-thread ninjaing.... always fun...
