Per their website it shipped to MA 1/7/19.

Curious if any bar staff/package store/distro folks know when it will be available in Eastern MA?

I’ve had it a few times in my travels & wouldn’t mind grabbing some cans or a draft glass. Though I’m certainly not interested in any lines, raffles, events etc. Always thought it was a unique IPA with its use of honey, definitely an OG type of beer.

Really hoping I can get my hands on some without having to jump through hoops. Never had it. Can't tell if it'll be a gotta ask for it behind the counter thing or they'll be plenty because it's old school

Not sure if it’s because I’m reading this during the morning commute or it’s the new year or what, but the idea of jumping through any hoops to get any beer just made me think “I’m too old for that shit.”

Seriously, if it’s more effort than “pick up a 6 pack at your leisure within the next week @ a store within 10 miles from you” then I’m out.

If tasting Hopslam with "Imperial IPA" style in your head you will be disappointed. I like to think of it as a hoppy imperial golden ale.w/honey. The first time I had it in Indianapolis on tap around 5 years ago it was great, but then my second taste was after trading for a mini-keg a few years back and my haze-ridden taste buds had definitely muted the beer.

A store in Western Mass that I frequent when I'm in the area posted they had 4 packs and 5L mini-kegs for sale. So, they should be dropping everywhere...

Assuming those stores might be covered by distributors that handle central/western MA and CT, was hoping to grab some HopSlam while I'm near Boston today.

Total Wine in Natick had a bunch. $19.99 for a sixer and $33.99 for that keg thing.

I'll let everyone have the thrill of the new beer chase this time. Something something let them come to the realization themselves...

Fort Point Market got it today; seemed to be a ton. $20 for a six pack.

Bought a single. It's way too sweet, boozy burn, solidly meh and way overpriced. Does nothing for me. Can't imagine ever buying it again.

These mini kegs will still be sitting there right next to the Oberon ones taking up space come next year.

Good thing I only snagged three cans.

I want to try one now and then let another sit for a bit. Might just be way too fresh right now, especially considering it’s more West Coast style I assume.

This is essentially what I’ve heard from my friend who lives in the Midwest. I still want to try a single can or draft pour just for the hell of it.

Anyone seen it in Reading/Stoneham area? I will be up there later today.

I enjoyed it. Wouldn’t be something I’d buy regularly given the pricing and ABV, but for once a year it’s something a little different.

$20 they are dreaming! Stone put out a 16oz 6pack of a double ipa and its $13-$14. Im sorry Bell's but that pricing is insane for you guys

I'd be curious to hear the price for a 6-pack at other stores. Fort Point Market isn't exactly known for their favorable pricing.

Yeah? With most stuff my experience has been the exact opposite. Always a buck or even 2 cheaper than stores around me in MetroWest.

And HopSlam is $20 a 6 at Total Wine.
