    Starting the day with Melvyn's 2x4 and good news from my ophthalmologist regarding an autoimmune infection I acquired in an eyeball a few months back...no sign of infection, ocular pressure is fantastic, and those pesky dots and floaters are slowly dissipating...good long-term prognosis...

    Good beer!

    I like their Pale Ale, Gamma Ray even better.

    In London be sure to hit the Bermondsey Beer Mile, a couple of blocks from the Fashion & Textile Museum (83 Bermondsey St. ). Side by side (73 Enid St. and 75 Enid St. ) are Cloudwater’s tasting room, and Brew By Numbers Brewery which in my opinion is as good as Cloudwater - Cheers!

    look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    Dark brown body with a soapy, sticky light tan head; flecks and strings of foam clinging to the inside of the glass. Deep charred grain aroma; barest hint of cherry. Rich cocoa and chocolate base flavor with a very subtle hint of cherry presence; delicately sweet; good bitterness counterpoint. Heavy body; smooth and silky; seems a bit light in the mouthfeel for the style; evenly balanced between light sweetness and dryness on the palate.

    This is a fine tasting stout but really doesn't have much of a cherry presence like its name might imply.

    Already planned that as well. Can't remember the exact planned route but both Cloudwater and Brew By Numbers is definitely on there.

    Hello Ba ... This here is an absolutely refreshing beer. I actually wasn't expecting much. Nothing against Sierra Nevada, in fact I have tremendous respect for them. I wasn't expecting much because I just wasn't understanding this style. Honestly I still don't get it because I don't know how this is an ipa. As some have suggested it tastes more like a pilsner and I would agree with that. But man it is such a easy beer. I like it a lot. Cheers !
