Alright, @Dtrain22, this thread is for you. But joking aside, you're right, they deserve their own thread for all the goodness they pump out. Let's kick it here.

Really excited about the upcoming triple crossing collab!

And the resident culture collab triple ipa that should be any week now!

Also, really found Nutella delicious but I had no real expectations for it (other than expecting everything from casita to be good). Would love if it came back as a barrel aged one day down the road, that would give it some really interesting dimensions.

I love CC. They're on that Burial tier: whenever I see a new can from them that hits my market (regardless of style), I'll go pick it up. Predictably, Nü-Tella was another banger. Can't wait until that Casita/RC collab hits the Triad. Hopefully tomorrow!

Casita is a bit hit and miss for me, but damn NuTella was tasty, glad I have another can left!

Agreed on Nü-tella. I don’t even like hazelnut stouts for the most part and I thought this was delicious.

I think I saw it hitting spots today.

I'd agree. Basically the stouts are the hits and the ipa's are the misses IMO.

I'm a huge CC fan as well. I love how clean the pilsners they drop have been more than anything. I doubt they would brew another Southward, but i'd love to see another collab with Hillsfarmstead. Maybe a clean saison or something.

Agreed on Nutella. Perfect amount of hazelnut and I think the added lactose, the malt structure, and the chosen barley really helped the balance on such a strong nut flavor. I had BA hazelnut from Cycle earlier last year and I thought Nutella (sans barrel) was far and away more approachable.

i have heard about that one instance of a bad can of high fives, but of the 4 cans i had, none were bad, all were spectacular. I can certainly see where more on the nose would be nice for this kind of triple ipa, but overall this beer is incredibly delicious and that 9.2% is certainly in hiding. well done with this one! ready for the next collab with triple crossing!

The Triple Crossing collab was interesting. I'm a big lager fan and enjoyed it, but was on the fence with the chocolate malt. Not sure it needed it (or that much of it), but I know Ryan likes doing things a little differently.

I though that Zero Cool was a delight, one of those beers that are a nice break from big boozy stouts and hoppy hazy ipas. The malt option was certainly a bit different, but I don't think it made it seem off or weird to me in any way. Very fall season to me, but still delicious and refreshing. At about $2.99 a can I'll definitely pick up a few more before they're gone, along with a couple more Goodonya's.

Bumping this to the top since they're opening their new space in Wilson, NC on Sunday.

Emergence and Growth BA Stout set being released.

    Thanks for posting that.
I may just have to hit their new space up, as I haven't had their beer yet, but I keep hearing good things.

I think I must have only grabbed the misses. They check all the boxes for making the hipster approved styles but I've only had thin stouts and middle of the pack IPAs from them. Looking back at my ratings, I loved Bladow! but everything else was 2.5-3.0, down the middle just ok.
