I can't figure out why they are so averse to posting prices. It is super-annoying. Even if the prices haven't changed from the last time a particular beer was released they should still post the price /4 pk. I wouldn't make the trip into Astoria without knowing upfront.

They’re also bragging about their beer flying out of the brewery. Um, you’re distributing your beer to stores/distributors where they then sit there for months.

It's markedly more annoying given that their NYC peers -- Grimm, Other Half, KCBC, Interboro, etc -- are all 100% transparent with their pricing. There is no guesswork.

That Singlecut North store is 10 minutes from me but I haven't bothered to go yet because I don't wanna be the guy that goes in, looks at prices and then walks out with nothing. Though, maybe if enough people did that, it would send them a clear message.

I have been to the North store and while I didn't grab a big variety of cans (Bon Bon and All That Is Now) it was $38 for 2 4pks. Certainly more reasonable than what I would find in NJ stores. I live in northern NJ but, grew up and still have family that lives 4-5 minutes from the North store. Can't see myself ever buying their beer down here any more but, will gladly pop into the North store when I'm in the area. Especially once their taproom opens.

Yeah $19 a 4-pack at least puts them in line with some Grimm, Finback, Interboro, OH, etc stuff. And the 18-Watt, Weird & Gilly and a couple other things have been $14-16 in local stores lately so they seem to be doing better, but it's still wild irritating that they won't do a very easy and industry-standard thing with their IG posts.

I will go to the taproom when it opens, though. I've been in the one in Queens and it was a dope environment and everything on tap was very fairly priced.

I thought the (relatively) recent drop of Mo Shuggie was really good. Though I will cop to having been on a real Nelson kick lately, this batch is decidedly better than the last one I recall, which had a number of people complaining in the thread.

$22 a 4 pack in my local store, what a joke.

I used to be a huge Singlecut fan but the prices continue to be ridiculous for batches that have such a huge variance in quality.

If any of you are on instagram would you respond to their post with a "How much $?" and see if they respond. Sometimes they reply to messages and maybe they will get the hint.

Am I the only person that thinks they are way overpriced for being just good. I stopped picking them up long time ago.

    I’m a scared.

I saw stores charging $32/4 for regular Heavy Boots of Lead.

Yeah, I've seen bottles of HBoL at a few different places and pretty sure it was around $6 a bottle. If they hold that price point for the cans I'm passing.

There's a SingleCut North Instagram page that shows pics of whats in the cooler. You can see the pricing for most of the cans there. It looks to be that they're following the $18, $20, $22 pricing model for their IPAs depending on if they're IPA, DIPA, or something DDH. I never had an issue with pricing directly from the brewery, it's the stores charging $24 a four pack that puts it over the top.
