I sure wouldn't mind seeing a little "seasonal creep" on this one. Thanks for the heads up! :yum:

11%? This could be dangerous. Nevertheless, this has my interest. Looking forward to it.

"First brewed in 2015, Double Two Hearted is hopped at 2.5 times the rate of regular Two Hearted, giving it an impressive ABV of 11%."

I never realized how much hops contribute to the alcohol content.

Would it be incorrect to call it a quadruple hearted ale?

I'm down, still enjoy Two Hearted and when in the mood it really hits the spot. Also helps that they have dropped the price in my area and I have no issues finding it super fresh.

I'll buy it and drink it. Well, not the whole six pack at once . . .

They should have called it “four hearted”

Been sorta 'done' with these big dipas or triple ipas for awhile now. 8-8.5% is a perfect threshold.

It's too bad they didn't amp it up to 8 and DDH it or something. They're basically trying to sell a big dipa when all those sales are down. Hopslam and hoptimum come to mind. Even Waldo's, I don't exactly have a big itch for.

No one is really craving a super sweet 10% dipa in this current era. Regular TH had been tasting quite sweet to me regardless. 11% may be candied hop syrup.

But what the hell do I know. It has solid reviews on here. Definitely a fan favorite ode to TH right there. As much as I like TH, I just don't know.

Personally was disappointed by this beer at the Firestone Beerfest, especially next to fresh Two Hearted. It'd been some time since I'd had fresh Two Hearted, but the Double Two Hearted lacked dimension for my palate and preferences.

Ohh My! I have not been this excited for a new distributed beer in a long time.

Had this on draft at camp Greensky last year. Personally I thought it was pretty good. Looking forward to grabbing some in bottles.

Speak for yourself. I still love huge, chewy Double/Triple IPAs. Waldo's and old recipe Hoptimum, especially. Oracle and Double Dog too. Ripped through a sixer of Bigfoot way too fast last week and will probably pick up another today. Super psyched for this one!

Maybe they were trying to imply that in order to add that many more hops required much more malt be added for balance? They just forgot to add that part
